If You Should Look to Kolob

Verse 1 If you should look to Kolob, To find a god in space,
Who started as a sinful man, And had to grow in grace;
You will not find the Ma ker, Who framed the starry sky,
Who authored space and matter, The Sov'reign Lord Most High.

Verse 2 From nothingness He formed earth, Before the world began,
The uncreated Great I AM, Whose Son then came as man.
He did not earn His glo ry, He did not have to strive,
He spoke all into being, And brought the stars alive.

Verse 3 These alien gods of Kolob, Are fables made by men,
To turn our hearts from serving Him, Who died and rose again.
For every knee is bow ing, And every tongue will claim,
The true God of all the earth, And praise His holy name.

Verse 4 There is no grand progression, There is but one main Throne,
We worship the Creator God, We worship Him alone.
No endless line of deities, Through all eternity,
The One, Holy, Sov'reign Lord, Who was, and is to be.
