Our Future Home

Verse 1 Far beyond all earthly sorrow
free from pain and strife,
There’s a home of many mansions
and eternal life;
Just beyond life’s flitting dreams,
where the healing water gleams,
There we’ll dwell with friends forever
’round the shining throne.

Verse 2 In that home of joy and gladness
there’s no sad goodby,
For the Savior reigns in glory
in that home on high;
We shall go, ’twill not be long,
to that happy land of song,
There we’ll sing the praise of Jesus
while the ages roll.

Verse 3 There is now a hope of glory
anchored in my soul,
And a faith that’s leading upward
to the shining goal;
If we’re faithful in the strife,
we’ll receive a crown of life,
In that home of glory waiting
for the ransomed throng.
