All Will Be Well When the Night Is Past

Verse 1 Tho’ storms may rage and the night be dark,
The winds may toss our little bark;
Tho’ waves may roar with the chilly blast,
All will be well when the night is past.

Verse 2 We struggle here with the surging tide;
While crossing o’er life’s ocean wide;
The voyage will end for it cannot last,
All will be well when the night is past.

Verse 3 The Pilot true now, is at the wheel,
With faith in Him, no fear we’ll feel;
We shall withstand all the angry blast,
All will be well when the night is past.

Verse 4 Some friends we know now are on that shore
Where sin and night can come no more;
We shall reach home with our Friend at last,
All will be well when the night is past.

Refrain When the morning breaks on the other shore,
All the gloom of night then will all be o’er;
It is coming soon, it is coming fast,
All will be well when the night is past.
